Chief Executive Officer USA (CEO)

Job offer

cellumation Inc.

Houston, 08/2026

cellumation Inc., with its one of a kind, patented celluveyor technology, offers powerful automation solutions for material flow systems in intralogistics and distribution. We are seeking a dynamic, business-driven, and people-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the North American subsidiary. This role bridges the gap between high-level strategic scaling, market growth, and building a high-performing organization. Working closely with our US-based Director of Sales, this is ideal for someone who thrives on growing businesses from the ground up, scaling technology markets, and fostering a collaborative team culture. This position reports directly to the Group CEO in Germany and Board of Directors.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Market Expansion

  • Own and drive the corporate strategy for the North American market, driving market penetration and business growth for the patented celluveyor technology.
  • Lead the scaling and footprint expansion of cellumation Inc. in North America, transitioning the entity from a successful sales and service branch into a highly integrated, scaled, and high-trust regional organization.
  • Develop and execute scalable go-to-market strategies to secure Tier 1 integrators, OEMs, and major end customers.
  • Drive and orchestrate the strategic expansion into new industries, steering the local sales team and global product management to target, map, and capture high-potential market segments.
  • Own the overall marketing and go-to-market execution, including leading the company’s presence at trade shows, industry events, and conferences, and driving brand visibility and demand generation in the North American market.
  • Collaborate closely with German headquarters executive and departmental teams (Product Management, Engineering, Operations) to align U.S. market requirements with global strategy.

Operations

  • Build and run the organization across the full machine life cycle — including project management, assembly, installation and commissioning of new machines, and ongoing service and support throughout the equipment’s operating life.
  • Evaluate and strategically plan the potential establishment of a local final assembly footprint in the U.S. as market volume scales and where economically viable.
  • Oversee local supply chain efficiency, quality assurance, and service logistics to support growing customer demands and optimize regional lead times.
  • Take full P&L and operational responsibility for the U.S. legal entity, establishing robust operational structures, compliance, and corporate governance. This requires very solid business acumen and a proven track record of owning full P&L responsibility for a comparable small business unit.

Governance, Safety & Quality

  • Fully own and control governance for the U.S. entity — with particular emphasis on safety, quality, and HR practices — maintaining a clean compliance record and the highest standards of conduct at all times.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Scale, mentor, and lead the U.S. team at our headquarters in The Woodlands, TX, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and entrepreneurial company culture.
  • Act as a strategic partner to, and work closely with, all employees and department heads — including Sales, Finance, Operations, and others — jointly building out the local organization and aligning execution across functions with operational capabilities.
  • Drive the organizational development of existing departments, strategically guiding team growth and structures to support expanding U.S. installations with maximum operational efficiency.

Your Profile & Required Qualifications

Executive Leadership & Business Growth

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience (such as General Manager, VP of Operations, or MD/CEO) with full P&L and operational responsibility.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling businesses in the U.S. market, focusing on revenue growth, business development, and market entry strategies.
  • Experience and strong performance track record in working in small to medium-sized enterprises.
  • Demonstrated experience with European machinery/engineering companies, understanding the transatlantic corporate culture, alignment processes, and high-quality European engineering standards.

People Leadership & Competencies

  • Passionate team builder and mentor with a track record of hiring, developing, and inspiring cross-functional teams, establishing a positive and highly collaborative company culture.
  • Entrepreneurial pioneer with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” executive mindset, comfortable transitioning between strategic board discussions and hands-on site development.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the executive presence to influence at board, shareholder, customer, and HQ level, plus strong emotional intelligence and people leadership that makes the team around them better.
  • Willingness to travel domestically to customer and operational sites, and occasionally to Germany for global alignment meetings.

Technical & Industry Expertise (Preferred / Desirable)

  • Understanding of automated material handling systems (e.g., conveyor networks, sorters, robotics, and intelligent material flow automation) is highly beneficial.
  • Experience in production setups, manufacturing layouts, assembly workflows, and local industrial compliance/safety regulations is a strong plus.
  • Established professional network with key decision-makers at system integrators, major 3PLs, e-commerce giants, and technology partners in the U.S.
