More Information

The celluveyor product portfolio consists of the following solutions:

cv.SINGULATE2D bulk singulation

The cv.SINGULATE efficiently separates and orients objects. It transforms disordered object bulks into an organized material flow with defined minimum distances. To ensure process-stable transfer in the case of bottlenecks or deviations, the celluveyor also allows objects to be temporarily buffered. Diverting to more than one outbound is possible.

cv.CROSSDOCK – Multi-inbound sorting

The cv.CROSSDOCK enables flexible allocation and transfers the objects in a predefined orientation between any number of inbound and outbound ports.

cv.DEPALPallet layer separation

The cv.DEPAL separates pallet layers of all varieties. The layers are automatically separated, aligned, and spaced at defined gaps on up to three outbounds.

cv.PALLayer forming in palletizing process

The cv.PAL quickly and precisely forms layer patterns for palletizing, even if objects arrive incorrectly positioned or misaligned.

cv.INDUCTReliable object supply

The cv.INDUCT ensures the precise transfer of objects at the perfect distance and orientation to an acceleration conveyor for feeding into a downstream material flow – with the correct minimum distances, speed, and alignment.

cv.ROTATE Pecise object rotation

The cv.ROTATE enables flexible and precise rotation of objects into a predefined orientation, regardless of their entry position.

cv.GOMultifunctional module

The cv.GO combines various conveyor functions such as rotation, diverter, curve transfer, and corner transfer in a compact, modular system. These movement profiles can be flexibly combined and seamlessly linked within a process to handle complex transport tasks in the smallest footprint.

cv.GO as rotation unit – Rotation unit and turning station

The cv.GO as a rotation unit enables the precise realignment of conveyed goods by 90 to 180 degrees – even with large and bulky objects. The rotation is performed at a minimum space, making it ideal for compact layouts and critical space conditions.

What is the minimum height of the celluveyor?

The minimum mounting height of the celluveyor is 300 mm for installing the cells, plus approx. 100 mm for the cable connection. With the exception of the cv.GO module, the celluveyor also requires free space above the cell surface for integrating the camera system. The mounting height and position of the camera depend on the layout and function and are individually adapted to the specific system configuration.

What controls and interfaces are provided?

Depending on the system, our celluveyor can be connected to external systems via the following interfaces:

  • EtherNet/IP
  • PROFINET
  • Digital I/O

For special requirements, expansion via adapters is possible.

Is there a camera system for object detection? How is it ensured that all objects reach the correct outbound?

Yes – with the exception of the cv.GO, all celluveyor systems use 3D time-of-flight (ToF) camera technology for object detection and tracking. The vision system is the “eye of the software”: it detects the objects and provides the correct impulses for the required movements. The data acquired in real time is transmitted to the control software, which adjusts the movement of the objects based on this information. Deviations from the target path are automatically detected and corrected. This ensures the precise target assignment.

Integration & Configuration

How to integrate it into my material flow and IT system?

In most applications, the celluveyor can be easily integrated into the superior material flow system as a plug-and-play system. The superior system communicates with the celluveyor via a common interface (among others and depending on the celluveyor: EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, digital I/Os). EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, digital I/Os). The commands are simple and are then converted by the celluveyor into complex movements. Extensive programming work in the PLC of your material flow system is not necessary. Your system tells us the task, the celluveyor solves it independently and takes over the movement logic of the objects on its surface.

More Information

What software is used to program the celluveyor?

No separate programming is required. The system is delivered as a fully pre-programmed module and can be integrated and operated via standardized interfaces such as Digital I/O or PROFINET by using simple control commands. For more information, please refer to the product pages

How do I configurate a celluveyor?

Manual configuration of the celluveyor is not necessary. The system receives all necessary control information automatically via:

  • Standardized interfaces (e.g. digital I/O, PROFINET)
  • Package information (e.g. barcodes or position data)

After integration, the celluveyor operates autonomously based on these inputs.

Advanced software tools (optional):
cv.GO APP: Enables the design of individual movement patterns such as rotations, corner transfers, or curve transfers. A user-friendly GUI (graphical user interface) allows operators to easily make adjustments and changes to the movement profiles.

cv.PAL APP: For planning and configuring pallet layers. Operators can also add and adjust pallet layers during the running process via a user-friendly GUI (graphical user interface).

Maintenance & Security

What maintenance measures are required?

Thanks to the one-model hardware technology, modular design, and remote service options, maintenance requirements are minimal. Maintenance is usually carried out at scheduled intervals. Wear parts such as belts or wheels can be replaced easily and without tools in just a few minutes if necessary. These can be purchased as part of standardized spare parts packages and kept in stock as needed.

What happens if a cell is defective?

The cells of the celluveyor are robust and designed for continuous industrial operation. In the event of a cell failure, automatic detection occurs. The defect is diagnosed by the system and reported accordingly. A cell can be replaced by the operator’s maintenance personnel by using standard tools (e.g. screwdriver) in less than five minutes. Thanks to the sixfold redundancy in the drive system, surrounding cells seamlessly take over the function of the defective unit. In combination with the integrated vision system, transported objects are automatically realigned and precisely moved to the target position. Cells can be easily stored at the assembly site so that they can be exchanged immediately in the event of a defect.

How does cell replacement work? Does it require specialized personnel?

Replacing a cell is quick and easy and can be handled by your staff on site without requiring extensive prior knowledge.

The process:

  1. The defective cell can be easily identified via an HMI, which displays the cell that needs to be replaced.
  2. The celluveyor is stopped and completely disconnected from the power supply.
  3. The defective cell is removed by loosening seven screws.
  4. The current cable connections are reconnected to the new cell.
  5. The new cell is then secured with the same seven screws.
  6. The system is switched back on.

After switching on, the system automatically identifies the new cell. Within a few minutes, the celluveyor is fully operational again.

More Information

What about safety?

All modules are CE-certified and the systems with vision technology are UL-certified, having a protection class of IP54, and a noise level below 70 dB(A). Unlike conventional material flow systems, the celluveyor does not require any protective housing.

Is there an HMI (Human-Machine Interface)?

Yes – an HMI display is available as an option for all modules except the cv.GO. The HMI provides an intuitive user interface for monitoring, maintaining, and interacting with the system in real time. Among other things, it displays the system status, operating modes, diagnostic data, error messages, and maintenance instructions. This gives operators a quick overview of system operation and allows them to intervene immediately if necessary.
